The Military 2 is Spyderco’s long-awaited evolution of its legendary Military Model. Designed by Sal and Eric Glesser, this second-generation knife integrates the ergonomic refinements and mechanical upgrades of the Paramilitary 2 while staying true to the original’s no-nonsense field design.

Out goes the LinerLock—in comes the Compression Lock, offering greater strength, smoother action, and safer one-handed closing. A full-flat-ground CPM-S30V stainless blade now wears a non-reflective black coating, balanced by skeletonized nested liners, open-back construction, and peel-ply black G10 scales. With fully ambidextrous clip options and refined geometry, the Military 2 is faster, stronger, and more adaptable than ever before.
