The TRM Neutron 2, affectionately nicknamed the NEWtron, was launched in September 2019 to celebrate the second birthday of the original Neutron. Responding to overwhelming customer demand, TRM upgraded the design with pocketed titanium liners to support a wide range of interchangeable scale materials—including G10, Micarta, Fat Carbon, Tek-Wood, and more.
The 3" CPM 20CV blade retains its original geometry and thickness, ground to a razor-sharp full-flat edge and finished with a two-stage tumbling process for a clean, polished look. Inside, the knife features custom titanium thumbstuds, stainless steel barrel spacers, and TRM-spec stainless hardware throughout.
The scale hole pattern has been repositioned to accommodate either the Neutron Classic bent titanium clip or the new deep pocket titanium clip, giving users flexible carry options. Lightweight, sleek, and proudly 100% made in the USA, the Neutron 2 is a modular masterpiece built for everyday excellence.
