Launched in September 2019 to celebrate the Neutron’s second birthday, the TRM Neutron 2 (nicknamed “NEWtron”) builds on the success of the original with enhanced customization and carry options. Responding to overwhelming customer demand, TRM introduced pocketed titanium liners to support a wide range of interchangeable scale materials—including G10, Micarta, Fat Carbon, Tek-Wood, and more.

The Neutron 2 retains its razor-sharp 3" CPM 20CV blade, precision-ground with a full-flat grind and finished via a two-part tumbling process for a clean, polished edge. Inside, you’ll find custom titanium thumbstuds, stainless steel barrel spacers, and TRM-spec hardware throughout. The knife supports either the Neutron Classic bent titanium clip or the new deep pocket titanium clip, giving users flexible carry options.
