The company was originally founded by Dan Evans in 1994. After damaging a scope while removing it from his safe, Evans realized there had to be a better method to protect high value optics. Using a high quality neoprene laminated with nylon, he created a custom fit for the optic. Evans’ new creation or “scope coat” protected the scope from dings, scratches, debris and as a plus, the neoprene naturally wicked moisture and condensation from the optics. Over the years, the product line has increased to include Binobib and Barrel Boot lines.
