Its blade is crafted from Carpenter Technology CTS-BD1N stainless steel, a fine-grained, nitrogen-enriched alloy known for high corrosion resistance, excellent edge retention, and ease of sharpening. True to its G10-handled counterparts, the Shaman Lightweight includes nested skeletonized stainless steel liners, a partial stainless backspacer, Spyderco’s stout Compression Lock mechanism, and a four-position pocket clip supporting all carry styles. Delivering all this at a price roughly 36 percent less than its brethren, the Shaman Lightweight sets a new standard in affordable heavy-duty folding knives.
