The second-generation Military 2 takes everything that made the original a Spyderco icon and injects it with modern engineering, ergonomic upgrades, and enhanced performance. Built by Sal and Eric Glesser, this evolution draws from the Paramilitary 2’s Compression Lock architecture—giving users increased strength, safer spine-side closing, and faster, more fluid blade deployment.

With a stealthy black-coated CPM-S30V blade and combo edge geometry, the Military 2 excels at both slicing and tearing. Its peel-ply black G10 scales house larger, skeletonized stainless liners and open-back standoff construction that lighten the load without compromising strength. Whether used in the field or carried daily, this knife is a purpose-built cutting companion that holds its own against anything thrown its way.
