The Ek Commando Knife Model 4 (EK44) is a modern continuation of the legendary Ek fighting knives carried by American servicemen since World War II. This version features a 6 5/8" double‑edged dagger blade made from 1095 Cro‑Van steel with a parkerized black finish for reduced glare and enhanced corrosion resistance. The blade is hardened to 56–58 HRC and proudly bears the classic “John Ek” signature, “Commando Knife Co.” marking, and Ek logo etches.

A full‑tang construction ensures maximum strength, paired with textured black glass‑filled nylon handles secured with traditional X‑head fasteners—an unmistakable Ek hallmark. The black‑finished 1095 Cro‑Van steel guard provides added protection, and a lanyard hole offers additional retention options.
