SPYDERCO MANBUG MBBGBKP MICRO-MELT PD#1 SPRINT – CARPENTER PD#1 BLACK LEAF-SHAPED BLADE, BURGUNDY FRN HANDLE, LOCKBACK, MADE IN JAPAN
Micro-Sized. Micro-Melt Tough. Sprint-Grade Performance in a Pocket-Sized Blade.
This limited-edition Sprint Run packs serious metallurgy into a tiny but capable cutting tool. Crafted with Carpenter Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1 tool steel—a powder metallurgy alloy renowned for its toughness and wear resistance—the blade is cloaked in a stealthy black titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating for low reflectivity and added protection.
The deep burgundy FRN handle mirrors the blacked-out steel hardware and lock bar, completing the high-contrast aesthetic. Despite its compact frame, the knife maintains full functionality with a precise full-flat grind and Spyderco’s ambidextrous Trademark Round Hole. A lockback mechanism ensures secure operation, and the absence of a pocket clip emphasizes minimalism while retaining mission-grade capability.
