Fidget-Friendly. Sleek. Precision With Personality. A Sage Series Classic With Added Button-Lock Flair.

The Sage 6 is Spyderco’s tribute to Kevin Smock’s Button-Release Compression Lock—a fresh take on the lock mechanism pioneered by Sal Glesser. This model boasts a smooth fidget factor without sacrificing strength or safety. The peel-ply carbon fiber/G10 laminate scales and nested skeletonized liners add rigidity while keeping weight down. Paired with a full-flat-ground CPM-S30V blade, it’s a lock innovation wrapped in top-tier materials.

It's a damn solid knife - good F&F, good steel, good ergos. Only complaint would be the price, but that's everything at this point. The secondary detent also smoothens up nicely over time.
